Back to Worddy
In short: Worddy collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no trackers, and no internet connection. Everything you do stays on your device.

1. Who We Are

Worddy is developed and published by Universal Cores, an independent developer. This Privacy Policy applies to the Worddy Android application (the "App") and to this website.

If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at the contact details at the bottom of this page.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

Worddy collects absolutely no personal information. The following is a non-exhaustive list of things we do not collect, track or process:

3. Local Storage — What Stays on Your Device

Worddy saves your progress exclusively to your device's local storage, inside the standard Android application sandbox. That data is limited to:

This data is stored by the standard Android preferences mechanism in the app's private directory. It is never transmitted anywhere, never read by us, and is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app.

4. No Internet Connection Required

Worddy does not require an internet connection and makes no network requests whatsoever. The app never communicates with any server, API, analytics platform or third-party service.

The published release build does not even declare the Android INTERNET permission, so the app is technically incapable of sending data anywhere.

5. Android Permissions

Worddy requests no Android permissions at all. There is no permission prompt when you install or open the app.

The app does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, storage, location, notifications or any other sensitive system resource.

6. Third-Party Services

The Worddy app integrates no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics services or social login providers. There are no embedded trackers of any kind.

This website is a static page. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those files and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party scripts are loaded, and the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your language preference is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Because Worddy collects no personal information from anyone, there are no special concerns regarding children's data. The app is suitable for all ages, and we do not knowingly collect information from children or from any other age group.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the nature of the app changes — for example, if a feature is ever added that involves network communication. Any change will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Because no personal data is collected, changes to this policy can never affect data gathered in the past — because no data has ever been gathered.

9. Your Rights

Under regulations such as the GDPR (EU), the CCPA (California) and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you.

Since Worddy stores no personal data on any server and collects nothing that could identify you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. All data the app saves lives exclusively on your device and is entirely under your control.

To delete everything, simply uninstall Worddy from your device, or clear the app's data from Android Settings.
