Is Worddy free?

Yes. Worddy is completely free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. There is nothing to buy inside the app.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Worddy works entirely offline. The release build requests no Android permissions at all and makes no network requests, so it plays exactly the same on a plane or with no signal.

Which languages are supported?

English and Spanish. Each language has its own vocabulary of roughly 3,600 words and its own collection, and you can switch between them at any time from the home screen.

Do the puzzles repeat?

In practice, no. Each round draws 7 to 9 words from a pool of hundreds, and the game deliberately avoids words used in the previous round, so the number of possible boards is astronomically large.

What is Relax mode?

A mode with no timer and no lives. You choose the board size (8×8, 10×10 or 12×12) and how many rounds you want to play, then take as long as you like. Wrong guesses cost you nothing.

Is my data collected?

No. Worddy collects nothing at all. Your collection, language and settings are stored only on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the app.

What devices does it run on?

Worddy is an Android app. It is designed for phones in portrait orientation and works offline on any reasonably modern Android device.
